ok ive heard it already. hes injured, hes a wuss, hes soft, they had time to heal there just pansy. Come on now "ITS TIME" to stop bashing the Rockets, its annoying as hell i mean this is a ROCKETS forum not a Utah j*zz forum if you want to go off on our team i suggest you go to their forum you will have a great time. Its our team this is our forum so we have to do what we can to support our team not bash on it, it gets ridiculous when all these threads open up and the only thing they have to say is trade him, cut him, and what not. First of all if you think your pissed or upset damn just look at Tmac and Yao when they lost in the playoffs did they look happy to you? No Tmac cried and Yao just looked miserable. They actually put in effort to win instead of watch, its their sweat and hardwork that took them that far so respect that. When a man can cry about something, and im sure you all have cried at some point it means what? That you CARED. yea they do care about winning for them but not just for themselves but for you and for their families. Im sure they have their parents in the crowd and friends so it definately means something to them. Im glad a lot of us still support our team but those who dont seriously stop with the annoying hate posts as its real childish. First because your not doctors but some maybe but those who hate dont look at the scientific fact. These guys are human, just like us and they will get hurt and sick just like any of us there not superhumans. Tmac has issues but he plays with those issues and you know what he probbably played injured so much that he caused more damage to his knee and his shoulder to WIN. He could have called it quits but he put this team on his shoulder and went all out against the jazz which still got us a L. If the guy is hurt he has the right to be because he actually goes out and busts his balls for the team, it may not look like it at times but its him and the team that have to miss birthdays of family, and special occasions but they have to keep on truckin regardless on back to back games and travelling like a mofo and that can be a strain on health and performance not to mention the grueling practices they have to endure. I know that injuries can riddle you as I have played ball and had a torn LCL and micro fractures and it takes a damn long time to heal , if you play injured you only make it worse and it took a damn year to heal and my level wasnt close to what the atheletes on our team endure so be patient with them and support them in their time of need. Sometimes you have to put faith in your team regardless the odds. As many of you know Hakeem the Dream Olajuwon used to fast in his holy month and he still performed at a high level for any center at his time. But he endured because he had faith and i know our players have faith but its time we have some faith in them. Yao, Tmac, and the rest bust a lot of balls to help this team stay up from the bottoms of the pit in the NBA and any other team would die to have players that we have on our team that perform at a high level. Some of you are complaining that Tmac should have not said hes injured hes a wuss before the season but you know Yao did the same thing going into the Olympics but man do some people have double standards. If he lied and played like crap you would be on his neck saying he is playing like a kindergardner but he told the truth and thats the man thing to do and to even say you can play with the injury that is quite severe really deserves respect. His determination out weights his injury and thats what we have to look at too because honestly he could just be shelved and then again ppl would be on his back again. But remember him playing injured could cause an even worse condition and you might never see this guy play again. All i ask is for us Rockets fans to stand by our team "LIVE IT" and "GET RED" because this season "ITS TIME". This is clutch city and dont ever underestimate the heart of a Champion.
No im not a crazy delusional fan but I am a damn loyal one this is our team we must support it. Your lucky we didnt have records like the miami heat.

It's mostly mcgrady bashers aka yao-only-fans who are rejoicing over nothing. tracy will manage the shoulder pain just fine. last season the main issue was the knee. and thats supposedly better now.

I share you sentiments, but yes, it's VERY hard to read a wall of text.

like do people realize the pain Mcgrady has indured the last couple of seasons and still put up all star number...i mean most wouldn't even try half of what he has done...i don't think this injury will hold him back, when he's at the closest point in his career to winning it all

Ah, yes. It must be getting close to the season. Here comes the first of what is SURE to be MANY "stop bashing our players" rants.

So, did anyone actually read that whole post?

Does it really matter? Tmac doesn't have to carry the team anymore (he didn't really have to carry the team for the past couple of seasons). We all know what is going to happen, Tmac will take it easy in the regular season and then when the playoffs come he will bring it.

This might end up working out for us because when his contract comes up in a few years, if we are still competitive I can imagine him taking a huge salary cut. Maybe this would help us sign Artest long term.

I tried... I pretty much skimmed.

This is clutch city and dont ever underestimate the heart of a Champion, had me lol though. I guess brent barry is a champion...

If McGrady can complain about his shoulder before the season even started, I can whine about us having a players w/ gimp body parts.

the season is nowhere close to starting and people are already playing defense.
on the contrary this doesn't show that fans are faithful that we can win if we are already in the 'stop bashing' mode before the preseason.

ron artest would think you guys are wimps.

Here is my attempt to put paragraphs in his post. Still tough cause as I was determining where to break I noticed a lot of run ons and I'm not about to try to edit that stuff.

The great thing to me about the Artest trade in the GARM was that there weren't 49782359 threads about how much everyone hates McGrady. Looks like those days are back...

Hate to say it, welcome to the board get used to it, just wait till we get our first lost! You won't hear the end of it

There are some people on here that expect a 82-0 season and thinks they can be coaches because they became a dynaysty on NBA 2K

Its the nature of the board
