Stockton because I felt the team could go all the way had they won that series. This team, not so much. Especially with mchale at the helm.
I've only experienced the Lillard one live, and I can't imagine any worse pain right now. I feel like someone died.
Stockton and it's not close. But to be fair, it's exactly what I thought about tonight. I'm still shell-shocked. Brutal way to end a season.
Take this lillard shot and all the hurt you feel from watching the entire season, watching the team go through injuries, learning to play together, finally getting healthy and playing great, feeling like this tean has a shot to go deep into the playoffs and then take all that investment into the team and then multiply it by 50 and you're almost halfway to stocktons shot.
One was in the conference finals, against our most hated rival, at home, with a freaking bear hug. The other was in the first round against a team that is hard to dislike, on the road, in a series where the Rockets committed dumb mistake after dumb mistake.
Stockton, it was Drexler, Barkley, and Hakeem's last chance and they almost pulled it off. We would of gotten to see the greatest finals matchup of the 90's. Wouldn't of beaten the Bulls but it would of been fun.
The Lillard shot was more impressive. The Stockton shot hurt more because the Rockets had a championship team that year.
