Im back into the stock market after being burned when the bubble busted. Since, I have not looked or kept up with the market. Was hoping you guys could help me in reccomending websites/resources to help me evaluate stocks and start off with a decent portfolio. Signed up with Scottrade today
I am in the same boat as you. Was trading a lot in the late 90s, stopped all these years and just getting back in. Right now, I've been mostly trading put options on homebuilder stocks. Doing quite well as of late.
all I have to say is take your time. if you got burned back in the tech bubble go back and see why you got burned if you haven't already. take a few weekends and just go to barnes and noble and look thru some of the books there, that's how I started learning about stocks. the motley fool books are pretty straight forward and present solid investment ideas. I think william o'neill has good books too.
thanks for the advice...any website that I can visit daily? just to catch up on whats going on, trends etc
