Recession over apparently. SPY to infinity.

All because JPOW said they could slow the pace of rate hikes as soon as december.

Sell the news, pivot narrative of "lame hike" as recession risk? When are yearly bonuses tabulated for money managers? The when is always a gotcha...

I'm a doomster, but I now think something like a crash needs unimpeachable black swans. A repeat of this year is more likely than something going bust like march 2020. Too many financialized mechanisms for central banks to manipulate. The Plunge Protection Team is one example.

Weird... I was just reading a programming subreddit and came across this gif when they were talking about global variables. I think it could apply to your statement... and eventually to your kids.... and their kids... lol :

Stock futures dropped Friday as investors digested hotter-than-anticipated jobs data, worrying investors looking for signals that the Federal Reserve can begin slowing interest rate hikes.

Are investor's rooting for people to lose jobs? If we have like a million people losing a job will markets double?

The narrative changes week to week. Day to day even? After Powell spoke, some people thought it was expansionary and even pointed to lower treasury yields as a leading indicator (as opposed to investors buying bonds as flight to safety).

    Troubled waters my friends.

The Fed certainly is (jobs at overpriced publicly traded companies). GOP probably is (so they can win 2024). GOOD LUCK

Not rooting.... but the game is the game. I'm not a day trader or someone who moves in and out of the market, but just a boring old buy and hold type of investor. However, I have done much of my buying when things aren't going so well or things are chaotic.

@CCity Zero these are some of the ones i've seen on twitter. I think PJmatlock runs that Atlas discord. There are plenty of these twitter scam artists pumping sht penny stocks to idiots for a pump and dump. here's another one: https://twitter.com/buysellshort

The following seven individuals were charged with securities fraud:

Name State of Residence Twitter Handle

    Perry Matlock Texas @PJ_Matlock

    Edward Constantin Texas @MrZackMorris

    Thomas Cooperman California @ohheytommy

    Gary Deel California @notoriousalerts

    Mitchell Hennessey New Jersey @Hugh_Henne
