NBC just dropped 2 more rockets games against the nets and then the bulls. The nets game on March 4th will be at 1:30 on FOX, and the Bulls game will be at 2:30, also on FOX. Did anyone else see this coming? ------------------ You win some, loose some, and some just get rained out. When you say FOX do you mean National or Local FOX??? ------------------ ~John~ Trade No One and Keep Rudy T. JohnyRocket's Fan Site
I meant on Fox Sports Southwest. So it's local. Sorry I wasn't more specific, I didn't want to have to edit AGAIN!
Ok thanks, one thing when editing your post for the second, third time you can delete the things that say this message was edited. So it only shows one of them. ------------------ ~John~ Trade No One and Keep Rudy T. JohnyRocket's Fan Site
You can't blame them for dropping the Rockets from national coverage BUT, of our NBC games this year:- a) Our NBC game against the Lakers was a nailbiter which we won b) vs the Spurs yesterday(which was supposed be on NBC)was an overtime nailbiter. If this keeps going, NBC are the losers so let them take every Laker game instead and provide a clinic on how not to shoot free throws.
That does it. The Rockets should move. They should leave Houston and move to Michael Jordan's jock, where they can be assured of regular coverage by Bob Costas and NBC.
If you think about it though, the rockets and bulls and nets all have losing records. Now I know that NBC never shows respect for the Rockets, but name 1 other game that they are airing for 2 sub 500 teams.......I just checked NBA.com and for the remainder of the season, there are zero. Chicago and New Jersey are in there playing contenders, and that's it. So it's not really an ANTI-Houston thing, it just seems that way.
