I know steve has problem of turning the ball over and leads the league in that category. Everyone always compares him to Jason Kidd. Does anyone realize J kidd is 5th in turnovers and he only averages 2 assists more than francis. I feel sf overall game is better than J kidds overall game.

I agree with you but you have to also remember that there styles are completely different. Kidd is the premier text book PG that passes first and shoots second while Francis primary strength is still his scoring. So I would say that Kidd is the better PG but Francis would be the better SG..

I'm not talking about the better pg. I'm talking about the better player. As long as sf leads the rockets to victories, it doesn't really matter what positon he should play at.

Jason Kidd leads his team to 50 plus wins. Sounds good to me. Very valuable. Of course, I like Steve better. I would rather have Steve Francis than Jason Kidd. I think Jason Kidd is the best TRUE point guard, who passes and stuff. But I like Steve Francis more. Then we go on a 10 game losing streak...

You guys are talking alot about kidd adn francis, but a guy i think needs more recognition is gary payton. he averages 22 and 9 and only turns it over 2.5 times a game. he also shoots it at a better % then both of them.

    Heres the comparison:

The only thing it does not show, is the TOs. Francis averages 4.0 and Kidd averages 3.49.
