Did anyone catch it? For being the Player of the Game? A $50 gift certificate to Joe's Crabshack. Why does HE need a gift certificate for??? Give it out to the fans like last year, geeze! I think his bank account is having enough trouble breathing as it is, with all the digits.
Well, you gotta figure that if Joe's could bribe an all-star like Francis to come to their restaurants, it'd be a better p.r. coup than some schmo. It's all about the Benjamins... for Joe's Crab Shack.
As cheap as I've heard some of these athletes are, I wouldn't be surprised if Francis would cash it in. I'm not saying Francis is selfish and wouldn't give it away but if it was one of those bad-tipping athletes I wouldn't be surprised at all.
LMAO, and great sig, as usual! This one's for you: Steve: To inflict the Jazz great devastation Yao: To unite all peoples from within all nations Steve: To protect myself from steals by the Glove Yao: To extend my hands to dunk from above Steve: Steve! Yao: Yao! Steve: Team Rocket blasting off at the speed of light Yao: Surrender now or prepare to fight
I went into a Joes Crab Shack only once,I didnt eat there,as I departed quickly as soon as realised that it was a kids place. Besides that I am on a low salt diet. But thanks for the thaught!
Actually, Joe's Crab Shack has one thing going for it. If you go there with a group, you can buy crab platters for like $25 a pop. They come with 3 different kinds of crab (King, Dungeness, and Snow?) and they come piping hot. If you keep the platters coming, you can really enjoy hot, fresh crab until you've had enough. BBQ flavor is the best in my opinion. The rest of the food there is kinda mediocre though.
they've given one of those out after every game. this was the first time it was a rocket because it was our first win. i remember zach randolph got the first one and i thought he's really gonna need that.
I was listening to a game about 20 years ago, on the radio. They came back to the post-game interview from the break. It was broadcast, but obviously they did not know they were on the air. The player asked where the cupon was (I think IW Marks). Gene explained that they usually just gave them an envelope with cash in it.
