Every Sunday, SportsCenter has a sad story, usually narrated by Tom Rinaldi, and today it was Steve Smith, the former fullback of the Oakland Raiders (1987-1993). Now he has Lou Gehrig's disease, and the Raiders came together to help pay his medical bills, in upwards of $60,000. It's so sad, a man who was built like a fire hydrant has no control of his muscles, what a bitter irony.
