I heard last night on 97.9 fm, the houston radio station promoting Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, Antonio Mcdyess, Nick Van Exel, and everyone from the "We R One" company which players like Steve, Van Excel, and others own are going to be at club Opus tonight. They called Steve " the Franchise".

All I'm saying is that steve's head better be in the game tonight and on Sunday instead of partying all night with his clique. He better perform well, and not make any excuses. If anyone noticed, Steve and Mobley played poorly during the whole super Bowl fiasco. All the celebs were in town and they both played bad in all of the games for like that entire week. Steve can party all he wants after we win at least games 3 and 4. What do u guys think??

He missed practice? A plane? Didn't show for the game?

Party on, on your day off.

    Play on, on game day.

I don't have a problem with players party on the off days as long as that doesn't effect their productivity the next day.

One thing I do want to mention is that many pro players do fooling around with chicks all night long before the game day, especially on the road. That's ONE of the reasons players tend to have bad performance on the road. I remember in one of the interview, Magic Johnson said that some of his teammates did that, which effect their energy the next day, but he would never do that.:D

Looks like their minds weren't on any after party during game 3. Great game Rockets. I hope they have after parties all the time if this is what happens before them.

alcohol affects your metabolism for a few weeks if you go on a binge. partying in between the playoff games is just plain dumb.

    Actually went to the party.

I got there right after the game. Saw Antonio McDyess there first he was the only player i saw for a while.

Saw a few football players, Corey Bradford and Jonathon Wells.

Around 1 am is when Francis and Van Excel Came by. Francis only stayed for a short amount of time and then left. Talked to him a bit and he was really happy about the game and said just wait for Sunday. Which sounds promising. Ewing Walked in about 10 minutes after Francis and hung out for a bit.

No there are no pictures from the club. But if you know me personaly or come by sunday i can easily prove it. Since Francis does hang out at my place a bit. Plus i have given proof before....

Either way...He was really happy, didn't really drink and just left early to go back home.

That's cool, I hung out with Francis when he played the knicks back in january...he was cool, happy to beat the knicks and we did some lines together and chilled - real cool guy. We hit a few strip clubs and partied all night...he said something about having sweet superbowl tickets and invited me to a party but i said i had to work. i can't prove it either, but if any of you want to come up to nyc i can get the bartender to verify the story.
