Since people around here love to compare Steve to other guards, I thought I would bring this up. Who would you rather have as our starting point guard, Steve Francis or Yoda?

I was watching AOTC last night, and I noticed how Yoda was handling the situation during that last big battle scene. I was thinking, "Man, that guy is a BORN leader!" He was just so confident.

Now, Steve is younger and more athletic, so he's probably less prone to injury. Yoda has a slight height disadvantage, so it will make it harder for him to get jumpers off. I think, though, that his tremendous leadership abilities make up for it. Plus, he can use the force to knock people out of the air when they go up for rebounds...(SCREW the dark side! We want an NBA title!)

So, with no disrespect to Stevie Franchise, I think that if we had Yoda running the point next season, we would win the NBA title...

What do you think we'd have to give up for him? Tierre Brown and a second round pick?

We should sign Yoda only if he could help us recruit a Wokkie to replace Cato.

Plus, Yoda could totally out-Zen the Zenmaster Phil Jackson in confusing post-game interviews.

As weak minded as the average NBA player is, forcing turnovers would be as easy as pie! (pun intended)

Who would need a 5 man team, with one Yoda?

He could use the force to hold off defenders with one 3 fingered hand and shoot with the force using the other 3 fingered hand!

Yoda in Aotc was cute. Loved his facial expressions. What's with his ears? In Aotc, one was much bigger than the other.

You refer to the prophecy of the one who will bring balance to the Rockets. You believe it is this... muppet? The problem is, he's a bit of a tweener, and Rudy likes versatile guys who can play several positions. Sadly, Yoda can only play the 1, so he wouldn't see many minutes. On the other hand, he could use the Force to b****slap Malone. That's worth at least a 10-day contract, IMO. :D

He's getting old. We don't need a guy who can only give us about 5 minutes a game and then has to go back to his cane--unless the game is close and it's the last five minutes. Actually, this might work.

By the way, Yoda is at least as tall as Iverson. So he can play the two.

If we acquire Yoda, I think his nickname should be "Toyota," because he's quality and can toy with the other teams. I'd trade everyone but Jason Collier to get him.

I know he's unpopular, but we should also look at JarJar Binks. He's huge and has a great wingspan. He's also very athletic. Albeit, he's fairly uncoordinated, and extremely annoying, but that can be advantageous in one-on-one defense. He might draw flagrant fouls from whoever he's guarding. I have a feeling he can flop pretty good too.

I think Yoda shouldn't play because of his age. I do think he'd make a great coach. He could probably put some discipline in our backcourt. Then he could use a mindtrick to get Cato to shape up and play!!! Either that or draft a wookie.

Also there's a guy out of Kamino named Boba Fett who can play the 3 and has the slashing ability everyone's been desiring from that spot. He would also finally bring the presence of an enforcer.
