Whats the deal with Steve Francis and Andre Miller? Does anybody know of any history they have or why they dont like each other? They seem to get into it almost everytime they play each other.
Yeah, they both read this message board, and see all the idiotic posts that say Steve should be traded for Miller. Miller then reminds Francis about it on the court to try to get into his head and that's when the sparks fly.
I wonder if it goes back to the rookie game the both participated in. Miller wasn't getting the props Steve was getting and I think it might have annoyed him. He was even booed when he didn't dunk the ball while all alone on a fast break and of course Steve had the crowd with his highlights. I'm sure a player of Andre's caliber would want his "props" like others.
I loved the way Yao jumped in... Could have gotten ugly, but cooler heads prevailed... AM was an idiot for holding Stevie while going up...That could have been the season...
I saw it as a flagrant. (When Cat is traded for Miller (who sign and trade to Rox) Stevie and Dre will become close buds.
AM is one the most overrated player in this league, and cat is one of the most underrated player in this league

I highly doubt there is serious beef between Miller and Francis. Francis was upset Miller grabbed him while Francis was in the air (unwritten rule of basketball). Miller was frustrated that 1) he believed Francis traveled and 2) he got done. If Miller does become a Rocket (I hope not) it will all be water under the bridge or however that saying goes.
Cat is one of the most underrated players on this board, but I think less so in the league. Most of the opponents players and announcers (league pass) recognize Mobley as a good, tough, player.
Please do not confuse a players value with his lack of intelligence. Mobley is a very good player offesive play and a descent defensive one too but he definitely low on the IQ chain. He is not underrated - he is simply not that smart. Without mincing words, Francis is a better athlete than Andre but Andre still remains a better "floor general" (PG). There is nothing absolutely wrong with that. Popular opinion on Andre will change 180 degrees if he became a rocket and perform the same way he has perfomed in University of Utah and Cleveland Cavs. I believe this season is an anomaly as far as Andre is concerned.
