Chances are that there will be 10 threads about it on the day and one of them will have 5 pages right before the show starts. If you show up here, you'll probably "remember" to watch it. Then again, I'm a little used to how Yao gets treated on here. Maybe no one loves Steve anymore and will forget all about him.
Certainly the ppl that would trade him straight up for Jermaine Oneal dont love him... HEH.... STEVE ROXORZ
gross. not to knock a hall of famer or anything, but i'd rather teamup with a senile, comatose anna nicole smith than walt frazier. worst sports commentator... ever. last year i watched a few knicks games with the direct tv sports package and i cringed everytime the guy opened his mouth. my tv was constantly on mute. he uses words that make no sense whatsoever to anything that's happening during the game. not that i'm an english major or anything, but then again i'm not a commentator for the basketball team of the capital of the world either. it's almost as if he subscribes to "word of the day" to figure out what would make him sound smart during the broadcast. "dubious" seems to be his favorite word. here's a typical frazier line... "charlie ward proficiously dribbled the ball while dubiously trying to avoid the dubious presence of yao ming. however, ward was dubiouser to the fact that the shotclock was winding down dubiousingly. what a smart play." wtf? sorry to vent so much about the guy. just a warning for all of you with the nba package or all of you who are planning on watching him on wof.
Geez, I always hated Wheel of Fortune because they have the stupidest people on there. The puzzle could be "B_SKETB_LL", and a contestant would try to buy a U.
OmegaSupreme: walt frazier's favorite word is not "dubious", although it is high on the list. walt's favorite word, without question, has to be "unflappable". and, you're right, dude mixes in words that have absolutely nothing to do with what's going on in the game. and is it me, or does walt sound like marvin the martian? "i'm going to blow up the earth with my Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator..."
Why would he have one o and not the other? Same with the b, l, s, and u. Good job, though, of dropping both c's.
You Steve haters should get this one... ST_P F_CKING H_TING ON OUR D_MN B_EST P_AYER WHEN EVER THERE IS A F-CKING THR_AD ABOUT HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got that one, and I agree completely! It's a thread about Francis being on Wheel of Fortune, and people still gotta find a way to bash him.
verse and OS, are y'all crazy? marv and walt were my favorite non bill and calvin duo to see on league pass last year against the rockets. i wouldn't have minded seeing them a few more times. they were balanced and seemed like they knew what they were talking about and got along. basically bill and calvin w/o as much humor. i loved them.
They could have put Drew Gooden on and he could use his vast knowledge of US geography to win. (refering to the quote he made after being drafted.)
