It's probably because he wants to give back to Houston since they gave so much for him. Either that or he feels bad about how he never got the Rockets out of the first round. Something a long those lines..

I still like Franchise. Nice guy.

I went to the SF charity game last yr and he said even though he was traded, he'll be doing it each year here in Houston. I thought he'd change his mind later, but guess not. It was real fun last yr btw. I got Francis' autograph :)

No reason he can't do events at both cities.

Ran into Paul Pierce at LAX. He was on his way to this. Funny thing was that he didn't have any ID on him, don't know how you can fly without ID. Didn't ask him anything, not a Celtic fan. He did say that he had a baskeball camp that's why he missed the TMac one a couple of weeks ago.

I ended up going to the party on saturday night at the Hilton. It was actually pretty smooth because we got to kick it with so many people. Actually sat down and had a drink with Sam Cassell and Cuttino Mobley at the downstairs bar. Damon Jones was up there too just jokin it up. When we finally wend upstairs to the party we were at the bar and I was ordering drinks next to Mike Bibby. He was pretty alright but seemed like he was pretty throwed. Stephen Jackson was runnin all over the place with a champagne bottle in his hand. Got to talk to him for a couple of minutes just actually sayin wassups, nothing intresting. Stephon Marbury was behind me the whole night with just a wifebeater on kickin it with Emeka Okafor. Starbury didnt look like he was having to much fun. Couldnt see Franchise anywhere but ran into him at the end of the night and showed my appreciation for him throwing these things in houston still. He was real cool about it and kicked it with me and my girl for some time. Right when we were leavin at about 2 we were going back down on the elevators and saw some guys runnin at them so i held it open. Paul Pierce and his buddy came in and we got to talk to them for a while. Pierce was real cool and when i asked what he was doing after the party he told me he was just gonna go crash in his room. It was a pretty cool party and not too expensive. We got tickets at the door for 20 bucks. I didnt really take pictures cause i only had my camera phone and no one else there had cameras so i didnt wanna look like the only fool taking pictures. Pretty smooth night.

Heck Starbury lives in NYC now. I went home to Houston for the fourth of july holiday once and boy did every place in Houston seem boring. I mean I came home to get some peace and quiet time which is good but when I went to the bar scene in downtown was it just a lame experience.... Got back to Nyc and felt right where the party is really at.
