It isn't fair to compare SF to Marbury. That's a low blow. I'll pile on Steve when he deserves it but he isn't in Marbury's category.

why not? b/c steve hasn't rushed to the front of the plane to yell at adelman? marbury may not play defense the way zeke wants him to, but he's never been good at it. marbury is not the best player to have on a team, but it's reasonable for players to lose it when there's a person like isiah thomas running the show.

adelman pretty much pegged steve to be our starting PG this season. then, steve shows up overweight and doesn't play well by any stretch of the imagination in the preseason. oh, how quickly fans forget (or how little of the preseason they watched). steve is not in adelman's "doghouse"...he just refuses to go beyond the bare minimum and his attitude is childish. so why not compare him to marbury? they are very similar in many regards (just as bonzi was last season).

I don't think its right, i can't substantiate it from any other site. Plus, ESPN tends to be more on the ball than CBS.

To each his own opinion. SF has had his problems, but they don't compare to the Marbury stuff. It's one thing to be childish and immature. It's another to be a completely embarrassing train-wreck off the court for a team and franchise. I won't bother listing the notable Marburyisms from the last few months.

Agree. I'm not a big fan of SF but to compare him with Marbury is not right.

Reminds me of last year when the Spurs were publishing the official reason for Horry's DNP's as "Old Age". Anyone think we'll see Steve Francis - DNP - Cranky?

Devin Harris is on there too, but he played last night.

No wonder Steve can't get on the floor. Too many sack riders in his lap.

That is a ridiculous thing to say. what has steve said or done that is distracting. he sits there quietly and doesnt criticize. he high fives his teammates and he compliments them in the media. steve is a distraction because FANS chant his name and media constantly asks about him. to compare steve to marbury who is blackmailing his coach and no-showing games is just stupid. i don't really care if steve plays or not, but he's no marbury and I'm sure he would be fine with not being called out by fans in close games.
