It's so quick.....!!!! We've just seen Steve Francis a couple days back walking painstakingly with his crutches right after his February 26 surgery. And now he can walk without help from his crutches. Lao Da appeared yesterday in a press conference for announcement of the annual scholarships the Steve Francis Foundation pass out to needy students in Houston.
Giving those scholarships away was a nice gesture by SF and if you watched BJ play today, we still need a backup PG. I am hoping SF can come back from the knee surgery and get to play an entire season with Yao and Mcgrady.
It's like yesterday that half of the board would rather trade Yao than Francis. Talk about loyal fans.
Here's hoping he comes back strong and works into the system. Oh and to Rafer keeping it up. You know, if he played like this last year in the postseason we might be defending champs.
What kind of procedure did he undergo? What exactly was wrong with the knee, and when can he get back to working out? Thanks, DD
I remember when this guy played for the Rockets 5 or 6 years ago. Good to see him back in Houston after his retirement.
Is there a chance Stevie can become our secret weapon in the playoffs? After all he's not playing in any Olympics
Good to know he is making progress in recovery. Seems he has a long way to go before he can make himself in shape for play.
fwiw, he was at the game today, the announcer acknowledge him to the crowd, was watching from the tunnel.
