From SpearsNBAYahoo on Twitter. Stephen Jackson and Acie Law to Charlotte for Raja Bell and Radmanovic. Can we please stop the talk of getting him now? It was never going to happen
i was gonna say nice trade but then i looked at jackson's numbers and age again. odd trade for the bobcats. they don't really care.
Once again, rockets don't need Stephen Jackson... he's nothing more than an average player... the only difference between him and other average players is that he jacks up more shots... I think he's in the same class as Hedo Turkoglu..
So Charlotte saves money this year and adds future salary. Me thinks they are planning a salary dump at the deadline for expirings? Chandler/Diaw for Mcgrady?
That's really what you'd accept for McGrady? If that's the best that can be had, I'd prefer to just let him expire honestly.
No, I'd hope for better. I think there is going to be a bidding war come the deadline between Memphis, Charlotte, Clippers, Philly, New Orleans, Indiana, Sacramento, and maybe even teams like Chicago (Miller/Hinrich) and Utah if they start sucking. I am hoping Toronto starts sucking and Bosh wants out. Bosh is the player I want for McGrady. If we can't Bosh, I'd be willing to trade McGrady for a couple really good players with larger salaries with at least one salary of $10 million or so expiring next year. In addition if we help teams dump salary, they've got to give us a nice young asset. For instance, Indy, if they want to dump Murphy and Dunleavy, the price is Brandon Rush. Or if Philly wants to dump Dalembert and Brand, the price is Young, Speights, or some other young asset.
lol yeah you're gonna have more fun in charlotte jackson, sucker. that's what you get for complaining and whining
You act like McGrady is the all-star he use to be... I much rather have Diaw then McGrady... Not a huge Chandler fan, but he adds size.
Sucks for SJax but all that junk he pulled early this season doomed him but saying that I am a fan of his and would have loved to seen him in a Rox uniform.
I really don't understand it. The Bobcats have a need for offense, but they are also a team that needs salary relief. Really makes the Okafor deal seem like a complete waste.
