But we need better players on this team, and the whole " don't sign overpaid players" moneyball strategy when out the window the day DM signed Miller to 5m a year. Trade him straight up for Battier, Brown would love to get a player who plays "the right way". Maybe we can squeeze a 2nd rounder too considering we will be saving the bobcats some $$$.
Yeah good idea cbd. Sjax jacks a ton of shots but he's a good all around player to have. Good defender, rebounder and of course scorer. There are no egos on the rox roster so a diva like him won't cause any problems. We'd basically have a rich man's ariza...complete with piss poor attitude

Despite appearances, we aren't desperate. Making a move for this loser wreaks of a kneejerk reaction and goes against everything the Rockets are about. I had always wanted Houston to get him even before he went to Charlotte. All that we would really have to give up would be Jeffries expiring to get him. Also, the more i read about it, it seems as if Charlotte is looking to blow the team up and start the rebuilding process. We could probably get G. Henderson as well for Taylor.
