Joe Lacob(Warrior's Owner): I think we need to get better, clearly, defensively. And that may involve some personnel changes over time. Specifically to that backcourt? We’re just going to have to wait and see. Who knows? I can’t tell you that anybody won’t be traded if the right deal came along. So I’m not going to sit here and tell you, “They’re definitely going to be here all year!”

Morey clearly has a taste for Curry, judging by his post-game comments when the Rockets played GS. However the "right deal" is more like one for a real superstar like Carmelo and not anything the Rockets can offer for the great young Indian point guard.

Stephen Curry would be sick for the Nuggets but I don't see the Warriors getting involved..

Why not? La La wants a city that's good for her entertainment career and folks in the Bay Area love Latin drag queens.

The Warriors aren't going to give up a future superstar in Curry for Scola, Martin, Budinger and some $$. Get real.

I think the question is...why would the Rockets give up Scola, Martin, Bud, AND $$ for Curry?? Sounds like those people who want to give up some kind of combination of Battier, Bud, picks, and some $$ for Carmelo. Besides, what kind of media attention has Curry encouraged of late?

If they want to improve the defense in their backcourt they would probably want to trade Ellis... Stephen Curry is smart enough to play some solid D.

Man, if Golden State trades Curry instead of ballhogg of the century Monta Ellis, they will be a lifetime regret for that organization. I cant believe how they even think about trading a very young, pure talent like Curry instead of Monta. Stupidish.

Monta is NOT a PG. When Curry was out, he averaged alot of turnovers.

Monta is an SG, Curry is a PG. And that backcourt creates ALOT of matchup problems.

Still don't get why they have to trade either.

Keep in mind a backcourt of Baron Davis/Monta Ellis once made the playoffs and beat the Mavs in the first round.

While Baron is bigger, Curry is smarter.

I really think that if GS makes a move they will regret, it would be breaking up that backcourt. It is electric! Monta at SG can work (like it has for most of his career). All they have to do is get deeper and get a defensive-minded SF.

Thank you, Jim. You've only been here a month, but already you're bringing sanity to the masses.

You obviously don't see Curry play that much.
