Stephen A. Smith rumor(take with grain of salt) Clips/Celtics trade.

Stephen A Smith said today on ESPN First Take that there is a rumor flowing around the NBA. The Clippers and Celtics may make a trade.

Celtics get:
Bledsoe
Butler
Griffin


Clippers get:
Garnett
Pierce
AND DOC RIVERS AS THEIR COACH



Basically, to briefly summarize what Stephen A said- CP3 has an option to make this summer. He is going to be asking the Clippers what are they going to be doing in the long term to improve the team and ensure that they are title contenders. Vinny was pushing for the team to get KG because with him, he believed they would go to the Finals.

KG said he won't leave the Celtics unless they trade Pierce, and he would preferably want to be traded with Pierce.

Not only that, but some don't like Vinny as the coach, and Doc would be a huge upgrade.

Again, take this with a grain of salt, because it sounds very unlikely to me, but I thought it was an interesting thing to discuss.
