Stephen A 'My show Got Axed' Smith is a such a TOOL and has no idea about basketball.

Tonight on the half-time show of the Heat v Pistons game on ESPN, he and his equally stupid colleague Greg Antonio praised the Rockets and said they were a big sleeper in the West once Yao gets back......

The thing that separates Suck Ass Smith from the really bad journalists is he said JVG should be considered for Coach of the Year, he praised the job JVG has done while Yao has been out and said he had spoken to numerous coaching and scouting staff around the league who were amazed the way the rockets have played without Yao and the great job JVG has done

where does the guy get off, what does he (and coaching/scouting staff from other NBA teams) know about NBA professional basketball

Not sure what JVG has done besides putting Tmac out on the court. Tmac is the only reason why the rockets didn't crash and burn without Yao.

Same old story. National media keeps giving Rockets respect. Makes me sick.

You're absolutely right. McGrady is such a badass, he willed the team to the #1 defense in the league. Hell, I hear he came up with a cure for cancer using rubber bands, a stick of gum, and a can of Mountain Dew.

How is it that Screamin' A Smith can notice just how great JVG has been this year, but lots of actual Houston Rockets fans don't see it the same way?

Honestly, we all should just ease up on that. Nash deserves it... not saying TMac hasnt been just as valuable but missing 15 games is missing 15 games. It is hard to win MVP after missing 1/5 of the season.

I wish JVG could pick up some sneakers and play at the one for at least 8 minutes a game

That b*stard! How dare he give JVG credit for a good coaching job this year,.

Last I checked, we were supposed to be Rockets fans. I'd take it as a compliment. However, as IC2000 said, a few members of this board clearly know more about basketball then JVG.

Hubie Brown was very complimentary of the Rockets and their defensive schemes and rotations. Hubie knows a thing or two about basketball.

??? Am I the only one confused as to why SA Smith's comments drew the ire of Smeggy?
