If Butler is out, I think the Rockets would be heavily favored to win the series.

If Butler is out and Green averages 25+ points the entire series then I like the Rockets chances.

Yep. The Warriors morph back into being a 10th/11th seed type of team if they lose Butler.

Even assuming he returns, if the Rockets split at Oracle, I think they should be heavily favored to win the series.

The longer this thing drags on, the better for the Rockets.

If jimmy can’t go we will absolutely win, easily.
We’re gonna win either way but …

Jimmy Butler will play and the Rockets need to be extremely physical with him.

Rockets in 6. I'm sticking to my original pick.

Someone needs to start a JImmy Butler Injury Update Thread. I assume we won't get accurate info from the Warriors as they don't want us to be able to plan for anything.

It’s likely he’ll play as he’s been an iron man for most of his career. Would be nice to steal one in Golden State though!!!

IDGAFOS about what SAS says. Didn't watch the video and im not watch anything from ESPN, Cowherd or all these trash talking heads.

I only watch Locked on Rockets, sometimes Sam Veceine & Tim Legler show. Keeps me mentality sane... i think

He's going to play. The question is if he will be compromised or limited.

I think the Rockets can win this series even if Butler is close to 100%.

The Warriors have a major experience advantage over the Rockets and their top 3 is better than the Rockets top 3 - but the Warriors are old, and even ageing gracefully, a bunch of older players together have their own issues.

I want to be tested. Let Jimmy play. But not Chitwood.

They are a straight high lottery team without Butler.

All they have is Curry and Green isn't very good without good players around him.

STEPHEN A IS JUST STATING WHAT WE'VE KNOWN FOR YEARS!!! THAT THE HIGHER UPS WILL CONTROL THE FLOW OF THE GAME TO THEIR LIKING.

HOWEVAAAA, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE RATINGS FOR THIS SERIES WHEN IT'S ALL OVER. T HAS TO BE THE MOST COMPELLING, ALLURING AND TANTALIZING MATCH UP IN THE PLAYOFFS.

    LOL F that...

They took all their wins against injured teams (us included) during their prime years.

I hope they play it cautious and sit him for an extended time.

(But even if he plays, I think we have a shot to win)

Whether Jimmy is out, playing but not close to 100%, or is totally fine--we still need to find a way to win this series. They have us on playoff experience, but I firmly believe we are the more talented team. Getting bounced in the first round, except maybe if it's a hard-fought 7 game series where the refs are tilted against us, would qualify as disappointing IMO.

Rockets in 4 (Warriors will forfeit series after third straight loss).
