The Rockets finally have one of their few national tv games tomorrow vs the Sixers. How embarrasing is it gonna be with just nine or ten thousand in the seats for a TNT game? The good news is: the cameras and announcer probably won't focus on the poor attendance because they don't want to give the NBA a bad name. NBC and TNT do almost everything they can to put a positive spin on things for the most part.

The only hope for a good crowd will be if the Sixers announce Iverson will play in enough time for word to spread around and the Rockets get a good walkup crowd. But that's not likely.

To be honest, I think talking about the lack of attendance in this forum is just preaching to the choir. Most of us are already fans and attend games whenever we can. I'll be there tomorrow and hope for more fans in the seats. This team has a good record and usually leaves everything it has on the floor. They cannot be blamed for a lack of hustle and that's what I like about this group.

Hope to see you there Thursday.

On TNT they said tune in tomorrow to watch Allen Iverson and the sixers take on the Rockets. Maybe Iverson making his return tomorrow? I wouldnt be surprised if he does, the game is nationally televised and Iverson likes that.

I agree about the attendance. I seriously think its pitiful how many people attend the rockets games. This team is really fun to watch, you never get bored watching them run for fast breaks. For me its hard to always attend games because Im usually busy and dont have time. But anytime I can , I go and raise hell.

Tomorrow I will also attend the game. I will go stop and get some tickets. This game is on TV, we have to represent HOUSTON very well. I better get the tickets soon, Im guessing only 7-8 thousand are only left. :p

That would be sweet if he does show up ready to play. I hope the Rockets can continue the domination over the east like they did last season.

Convincing speculation is that Iverson will not play despite all the TV promos stating the " clash of the crossover kings".

IMHO, with or without Iverson, the Rockets will be able to bang away for a 12-15 point win ...

Sixers are hurting - Iverson will be dishing and leaping only (no shooting) IF he plays at all, Coleman & Harping will be limping if they play, and Geiger will not be there.

    *rubs his hands together*

It's about frickin' time I get to see more than the highlights this year! :)

Four orders of boneless buffalo wings - 26 dollars. Case of Bass? 28 dollars. Getting to watch the Rockets kick ass on national TV against the Sixers with two diehard Philly-born Sixers fans - priceless.

Now the Rockets had better back up my boasting ;).

You're fat like me aren't you haven??? :)

What pisses me off is that no matter what we do tonight, we won't win in the eyes of the national media. If we win, we should've since the Sixers are playing so shorthanded. If we lose, we lose to a vastly inferior team...on national television.

I'm hoping the Rockets will jump to a huge lead early, and we'll see lots of trash time for Morris, Griffin, Torres and the rest of the bench.

I do know that the year before last, Rocket games being televised on TNT were blocked. If they were playing in Houston that is. If the Rockets were playing in another city the TNT broadcast would be viewable in Houston. These were true with Time Warner cable.

This year I have Dish Network, so hopefully the TNT broadcast will not be blacked out in Houston

Huh...I know a whole bunch of girls at my high school who are going to the game just to swoon over AI as he sits on the bench. I swear, they aren't even sports fans, much less basketball fans, much less Rockets fans. They're just there to give AI a little

Hey Allen, you so fine baby. Can you sign my tummy? I love you! You so hot!

I remember last year when I went to see Philly the 76ers bench had like 100 sluts sitting behind them in the stands and all of them were screaming AL's name the entire game. If he just tied his shoe laces they would faint.
His mom passed out pictures of him throughout the game.

Being in austin.. not having league pass....
This is just what I have been waiting for. I have invited all my friends (most from dallas) to show them how good Francis is. I often get in argument about Nash Vs. Francis... I know Nash is nowhere Stevie's level.. I belive Francis will prove me right in front of my friends.

I am really excited to watch Rockets' game for the first time of this season.. I have written "8pm TNT Rockets BABY" on my planner.... go Rockets!!!!!
