I wonder if this was an option all along, that the Mavs knew about?

Him going to Dallas doesn't make much sense for either party, especially Dallas, i thought they were going to tank without DeAndre?

Why would he want to sign with a team that's going nowhere, sign with a team that has a chance to win it all.

I like Dwill coming off the bench giving the Rockets 10-15 a game.

Tyson Chandler holds the distinction of being let go twice from Dallas to attempt to lure Deron Williams in.

Howard should pickup the phone and give Williams a ring, he would be a great pickup with out MLE. Too bad the reports are saying he's stuck on going to Dallas, I know that's your home town, but why go to a total **** bag of a team to end your career instead of a contender when you've never won a ring? Eh, beats me.

He had a good game in the playoffs this year.

Maybe he's finally healthy and ready to play?

Washed up and still better than Bev, Prigs, and Johnson ever were, are and ever will be.

I'd gladly take him if he were to get bought out and came relatively cheap.
