Steelers cut Jeff Reed

That's the life of a kicker. The second you become inconsistent, you're looking for a new job...unless you play for the Texans and they give you 3rd and 4th and 5th chances...and even another chance in training camp.

 

Reed said a couple of things yesterday that made it clear he was a goner.

 

If you're a kicker, getting cut mid-season just comes with the territory. There's no use crying about it.

I'm surprised the Jets haven't cut Nick Folk yet. He was terrible with the Cowboys and he almost cost the Jets the game against the Browns.
