Just thought I'd help spread the word. I can't believe AI endorses this piece of sh*t. Buyer beware. Allen Iverson's Reebok I3 Playoff II <img src=http://kicksology.net/images/reviews/reebok/review_i3playoffii_flex.jpg> figure 4. You don't see this everyday. In this shot Mrs. Professor K lends a hand to demonstrate just how flexible the midsole of the Reebok I3 Playoff II Mid is at the midfoot. I can tell you that no modern hoops shoe from adidas, AND 1, Nike, New Balance, or any other self respecting manufacturer allows this amount of flex at the midfoot. This is really just ridiculous and would be laughable if it weren't a potential cause of injury. Apparently this shoe is even worse than Stevie's Wink DMX from a couple years back. Just what in the hell is Reebok thinking?
I have a pair of those old Wink DMX's. Worn them everyday since I bought them a couple of years ago, and they're still holding up pretty well. I replaced the shoelaces a couple of months ago, and the soul's wearing out a bit, but they are still pretty good.
I've been wearing Reebox since 1985 when I was in the 7th or 8th grade and have never had a problem with my feet ,ankle or knees. My buddy is a reebox rep and so i'm still getting reebox and still have no problems. In fact, when I went to college and we were wearing cons, my feet didn't feel confortable at all. Don't hate on soes if you don't wear them.
