Interestingly enough if looks like Milwaukee will have to give the Rocks their pick this year. They would have the 17th choice as of now while Houston has the 11th choice in the lottery. Orlando actually has a worse record than Houston but is the 8th seed right now in the east so Houston is ahead of them. The Bulls will probably give us 2 second rounders this year so they can free themselves to make trades with other teams. So we would have 2 first rounders and 3 seconds as I presume we haven't traded any of our 2001 second rounders yet. Those second rounders would include atleast the first pick of the second round and 30th overall. We do owe Vancouver a first rounder I believe but I don't think we would give up Milwaukee's unless they somehow win the Title and in turn the 29th pick. I think we would probably try to acquire a late first rounder and then hand it over to Vancouver to take care of that obligation. Does anybody have any other information about picks? Having all these picks in such a deep draft is good and we could always package them to move up. ------------------
I think Detroit owes us a pick still. And is this really supposed to be a strong draft next year? ------------------
We owe a second rounder to Dallas from the Najera-Langhi trade. Yes Detroit owes us a pick, but, like Orlando, I would bet against them giving it to us this year. But you never know, especially with Orlando who has stockpiled picks Also, if Steve Smith is right, we may not get picks from Chicago this year. Check out the Vescey: Reef on the Block thread, someone had a quote from him in it that made it seem like we have five years to get a first rounder from the Bulls ------------------
How did we get a pick from Milwaukee?? ------------------ If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding!!
How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat. The draft pick came along with Jeff Collier in exchange for the big stiff Joel Pryzbilla (sp?) ------------------ [This message has been edited by crash5179 (edited December 31, 2000).]
From the Jason Collier-Joel Pryzbilla draft day trade.... Bucks traded us a first rounder. Draft Day recap We then waived Jeff and demanded they throw in Jason too ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET [This message has been edited by Clutch (edited December 31, 2000).]
why does Detroit owe us a pick ? Is it becuz of Turkan ? Does Philly have anything to do with this ? ------------------ "We don't have any plans. We just plan to win." Mack Brown
