Found some nice stats I thought I'd share with you guys:

-Over the last five games, the Rockets lead the league in points scored at 108.4 per game. They also lead the league over the last ten games at 107.8 per game.

    -Over the last five games:
6th in the league in FG% at 0.462
4th in the league in 3pt% at 0.407
6th in the league in rebounds at 45.4 per game. (over the last 10 games, 2nd in the league at 48.2!)
7th in the league in blocks at 6.6 per game
9th in the league in assists at 23 per game
9th in the leagye in opp. assists at 20.2 per game

Many statistical areas in which the team was near the bottom of the league, they have imroved to average or better: opp rebounds, opp turnovers, opp assists, opp fg%.

The only categories where we still suck:
    opp steals
    turnovers
free throw% (27th in the league over the last 5 games at 0.68)

Still have some glaring weaknesses, but this team is turning around. We're hitting our shots, our 3pters, rebounding, stealing, blocking, and racking up assists better and better as time goes by. Many of these statistical rankings are very similar over 10 games, a span in which we went 4-6.

We have the ingredients for a good team. I don't think we'll hit a decent stride until Feb-March, but hell, even right now we're only 3 games behind the 8th seed.

Thanks Nolen. If three close games had turned out differently, we *would* be the 8th seed.
