Kings won't take the throne from Lakers
    By JONATHAN FEIGEN

SAN ANTONIO -- There is a temptation to pick the Kings yadayadayada......

But the way to beat the Lakers, many claim, is to outscore them.

Duh, Jonathan, the best way to beat any team in any sport (except golf) is to outscore them.

You sure he wasn't being sarcastic? If he wasn't, I think he just meant you are not going to be able to stop them defensively, so the only way to stop them is to play good offensively and outscore them. That's my interpretation. :p

Yesterday, I was listening to the Spurs game on the radio, and at the beginning of the 2nd half the Sonics couldn't buy a shot. One of the commentators said:

"Sonics come out of halftime ice cold."

To which his color commentator made this brilliant observation:

    "That really benefits the Spurs."

Oh really? The other team missing shots benefits their opposition? I had no idea!
