I have not seen it anywhere but in the Chronicle, but what is the situation with Hawkins? Is he really going to start and Mobley coming off the bench? Is this a long term arrangement?

I would not have a problem with doing that and giving Cat the majority of the minutes. It would immediately give us one of the best benches in the league, and give us a legit scorer who can come in and take over off the bench.

Smokey, now that I look at the comparisons, I think I know why now. Its most likely the matchups. Hawkins will provide more size & D against Stackhouse.

The paper also mentioned an ankle injury to Mobley, not sure how severe.

It also probably has something to do with Cat and Jordan matching up. How does Cat typically perform against Jordan? If I remember correctly its typically pretty tough for Jordan.

He has not faced him but a couple of times. But Cat has outscored other players, but is not really known to shut anyone down with his D.

I think it must be a combo of what Bogey said and the fact Stackhouse has been playing so well and is a bigger guy.

IMO, Cat seems to play much better when he comes off the bench, just like the year that he was in for the 6th man award. I hope Cat comes off the bench instead of starting because Hawk can shut down the SG and give us a momentum to run in the game. Then Mobley coming off the bench should finish up the offensive sets the Rockets may lack in the 2nd half of the game. If Cat gets mad for not starting, then i don't think he should be here if he doesn't want to win. but id be mad too. JMO

Cat played very well last year vs. Jordon, at least on the away game.

He was one of the main reason that we won.

Cat is sitting the game out ... That's what the Chron says ... Re-aggravated an ankle sprain
