and am wondering if there is anything i can do to slow it down or stop it, if not regrow some hair

i know there was a thread on this once but i cant dig it up now. iam wondering if any1 here had a similar problem and did something about it and had positive results. i dont have insurance, so i was wondering what the cost would be to go see a doctor (what specialty i dont know) get a prescription and buy it all from out of pocket, and how often do i have to buy refills of the medicine

what do u guys recommend? what do u know works and what does not work?

any specific advise from u guys would be great :(

i will, just not now dude! iam not even in a serious relationship with a woman yet let alone married. at this rate i will be completely bald by 27!

if i can hold it off until early to mid 30s i will be happy, iam not looking for permanent solution just something to hold me over and i hear rogain does not work well by itself

iam wondering if any of u actually did something and it worked well for u. if so then please tell me its name and how to get it, and possible side effects

So like a Matt Bullard dome?

If you feel like it's receding too much I still say try shaving it and see if you like it. The worst thing that will happen is you have to let it grow out again. Plus they say if you shave it it will come back thicker and stronger. That's just what they say though I don't know if it's true.

That's what my uncle did when his started going and it looked much better than we thought it would.

It would be easier to give advice if we knew what you were working with. Is it really thin up top? Receding hairline? Both? Pics would be ideal to get a good sense of it, but I can understand not wanting to post. Regardless, I wouldn't shave it off yet.

If it's a certain spot on your head, then buy some Dr. Miracle grease and see if it works.

Only serious suggestion I can think of other than cutting it all off.

What shampoo do you use? I used Pantene Pro-V for a long time and started losing hair when I was 19 or so. After my hair stylist recommended I switch to Nioxin my hair grew back within a couple of months.
