People always ask why we consistently shout from the roof tops the mantra of "In Morey We Trust." and the arguement is always, "You guys haven't won anything yet!!" or "1 play off series win?!? that's it?!" Yes, not every Morey move has been a "home run out the park" kind of move, but in following with the baseball analogy, no one hits 1000. Just take a look at the rosters before and after the James Harden trade:

    Before Harden:
    Lin
    Martin
    Bundinger
    Patterson
    Asik

    Current Day Roster:
    P.Bev
    Harden
    Ariza
    Smith
    Howard.

It also took a lot of luck to get to this point, but the reason why "In Morey We Trust" is because he has increased our chance of winning a championship by more than 10 fold. It will take good coaching, good playing, as well as some good luck to win a championship, but Morey has put us in the best position we have been in in a while. Go Rockets!

I hate on Morey a good bit but he ultimately created the Harden trade and the Harden trade got Karma flowing back in our favor. JSmoove was the cherry on top.

Budinger wasn't around for Asik. He had already been traded to Minny that off-season

Asik was flipped for a potential lottery pick.

Will be interesting to see what we get for that.

I think it was that one guy that Morey hired to attract more fans, mainly females.

I looked through Fox sports and they provided a picture of this Parsons fellow here.

    Here is the deal

From here on in . . .. IT'S ON McHALE!
If we lose in the 1st round . . . .. it is McHale's fault
    you got the tools

McHale has gotten quality groceries. . .now prove to the world you are a CHEF and not some fry cook at Mel's Dinner

I thought our starting line-up after the Harden trade was:

    PG: Lin
    SG: Harden
    SF: Parsons
    PF: Morris
    C: Asik

    ;)

We should do a year-by-year progression of our starting line-up from the last year of Lowry with us (essentially McHale's first year).

People that say what has he done, I always say he help transition our team between eras and limited it to four years of mediocre ball. That seems a whole lot shorter than some of these other teams that are between eras.

Literally in just two years dude, just two years. If we make it past the first round I'm buying Morey a house, lol.

Patterson was the starter and Morris was the backup

Of course both then were traded during the deadline that season

Yeah, I really don't see how anyone can argue with this. The team has amazing potential, but coaches are what make sure that players actually use all their potential.

The only argument against Morey I can see is that he rehired McHale for the next three years. It doesn't void your point, though.
