I'm a big fan of the PC RTS game of the original game of Starcraft and was waiting forever! to come out with Starcraft 2, but since it's announcement, it had been to years already, and they still seem slow to develop the damn game, who else is anxiously waiting?!

blizzard is slow in developing every game, but I can't wait as well. I have a lot of time lost to playing the first one. But do you have memories of them releasing a bad one? I don't. I like the fact that they'd scrap games they feel aren't up to par (Starcraft ghost) than releasing something that has the potential to be bad. You know that just because of the name, it would've be a blockbuster upon release even if it's crap, but choose to keep the brand intact. I respect that a hell of a lot.
I use to love the first Starcraft. Not that interested in Starcraft2. Nothing really new to offer but a new facelift and a couple new mech. They are taking too long to release their games. By the time that it's out, the game is already outdated. I hate all Blizzard 3D games. I love their 2d spite games. They turn their 3D games into cartoony looking caricature characters with the awful low polygons. They are totally behind in the 3D division. Can't stand their low poly characters.
There are so many crap game companies making crap games out there. Blizzard has always done games right - it'll be released when it's released and more often than not, it's released relatively bug-free. I'll be buying it as soon as it comes out.
i know what you mean but its all about gameplay with me. not saying that there isnt a chance one day that blizzard's quality starts to take a dive. but so far so good though.
post blizzcon release, to squeeeeeeze every dime bro and it's going to be a trilogy, first the protoss 'package' subsequently terran & zerg
blizzard is not in the business of making terrific looking games, if you haven't noticed starcraft and diablo2 are still going strong, both over a decade old content is what they aim for
I have no idea why Blizzard would release Starcraft 2 in increments, but it's pretty upsetting. The gameplay better be worth it.
Yeah, I know their gams are solid but they are living off their 10yrs old games. They are not bringing anything really new to the gameplay. They are totally falling behind. It's been 10 yrs and they haven't given us anything new. All we are seeing are the upgrade for Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo. As for Diablo, I don't mind because they have a wicked storyline and gameplay.
I loved Diablo and Diablo 2, but there wasn't much strategy to it. It was just a clickfest from hell, but like I said, really fun. I'm actually more eager to play Diablo 3 than Starcraft 2, to be honest. Wirt's Leg FTW.
Yeah but you gotta love the gameplay value. Great story and adventures. Many cool spells and the game in 2D sprites still look fantastic. Well, it look fantastic on my CRT monitor but terrible on my 24" LCD. Too bad the resolution stuck at 800x600. Wirt's Leg? I done think I ever use that. I preferred the cheats. I can't live without the cheats. Hopefully in Diablo3 you can mod the game with characters, spell or maps.
huh? Diablo didn't really have any storyline. I think what speaks volume about the gamplay of those 10 year old games is they still sell well and have big followings. Blizzard has been releasing games (expansions packs I guess, but still) pretty regularly since world of warcraft came out, but since I have better things to do with my time than play that game it doesn't feel like they are.
I'm sorry but people who use cheats in games like Diablo and Starcraft are total lamers. I hate people like you no offense.
Ive randomly restarted d2 accounts so many times in the last 6-7 years because I would think of a character I wanted to play as. So many hours logged in that game.
