The gameplay itself is really good. The story was incredible, if you're the type that takes that in account for RTSes.

I'd be surprised if it'll push even entry-level PCs. The engine's 3 years old(!) already. They in-game models don't look to be using a lot of polygons, either, judging from the screenshots.

I have never really got in to an RTS. More of an RPG/Basketball fan. Willing to try it out though... Sounds interesting...

Looking for the Collector's Edition, the cheapest place i could find is probably Walmart.com, not sure how much shipping will be since Gamestop charges like 5 bucks....

I've never really been into RTS's either, but I freaking love Starcraft and will definitely buy this one at some point.

Hope to be playing it tonight if it arrives! Anyone need to do some 1v1's to practice and learn all the new units/structures/etc?

Walmart will do ship-to-store for free. I've done it once. Took about 20 minutes for the yokels that worked there to figure out what I was talking about. My time is worth more than that; I'd rather pay $5 for shipping.

Picking this up later tonight. Maybe this time I'll actually be playing 1v1s instead of customs all day.

I think I'm just going to play through all the single player campaigns before I even bother with battle net. I normally dont give a damn about single player but I always liked the Starcraft storyline so I'm curious to see how it plays out.

It's going to be a dissappointment that they are splitting the three races into three games.

I'm going to have to buy the Protoss and the Zerg games as well... :(

Well it's just the campaigns that are split up, but each campaign is supposedly as long as the three campaigns in the original game combined. Wings of Liberty reportedly has 29 missions. I just wonder what they're going to charge for the 2 expansions and what else, other than the Zerg and Protoss campaigns, they'll contain.

I'm hoping that the other two missions will only cost about $10 each... or they'll have a change of heart and make it free?

Haha, I hope it will be $10, but knowing Blizzard it will probably be at least $20-$30. They'll probably add more units to multiplayer among other things.

Anyone know what time UPS usually delivers to the First Colony area of Sugar Land? I'm patiently waiting...

I never liked playing RTS campaigns.

I felt like it was too scripted/linear.

I like playing RTS as a sandbox... just creating weird scenarios and unleashing all kinds of chaos... it gets old, but it sure is fun for a week or two.

Yeah that's definitely disappointing. That said I'll be suckered into buying the expansions now :(
