Any former or current Starbuck's employees out there?

I've got a 6 yr. old daughter addicted to Starbuck's Frappucinos and I can't afford to support her addiction. Anyone know the secret recipe? Thanks!

You've got to be kidding -- do you realize how much caffeine/ calories are in one of those things?

I like those, but they're too expensive. I would think that if you give a six-year-old plenty, she will develop a seriously dangerous addiction to coffee. She's too young, methinks, but she's YOUR daughter, not mine. :D

Make regular coffee (hot) with folgers or your choice of cheap coffee. Remember, we're cheap parents, so try to look for a good-tasting blend, or she will know it's cheap.
Add twice as much cream (not milk), this makes the thickness. Add 1/3rd more sugar. (jeez, that's too much sweet for a six-year-old!)
    Let it cool itself.
Put it in the fridge. You got FRAPPUCCINO.
    Serve after it gets cold.

Man, don't do that to your daughter. Seriously. Put the Frappucinos down, and just walk away. She's ingesting mass quantities of caffeine, especially considering her size, and kids don't need that... they get a buzz from just being kids! (I know, 'cause I've got two! :) )

    Unless it's decaf.

True...my parents did the terrible deed of buying a whole box of my favorite candy - Twix - when I was 12, I ate in in like a week and I got so sick of them that now I can never eat them, ever.

Don't start cuz you might get hooked! I do agree that it is pretty cheap to make, but something about drinking out of those little glasses feels like you're drinking out of a miniaturized milk glass bottle..also so awesome to drink when it is nice and cold!

I started off doing the frap, but then I realized that the iced caramel macchiato is better. After I decided I didnt want to be a ****** overpaying for novelty drinks I switched to the passion tea lemonade.

During the winter, the peppermint mocha is quite the awesome beverage. Cold winter, not 90 degree winter. As opposed to hail-laden late spring.

Global warming is a figment of your Jon Stewart watching imagination.

I'll tell you what it is... EL NINO!
