i can't wait to take my son to see his first star wars movie in the theatre next year! (he's already screened the others at home on our VCR --- he's 15 months old!) i can't wait to own all six movies in one big special edition DVD package that you know will eventually be released!! if i don't own a dvd player by that point, I will certainly buy one simply for that purpose!! ------------------
i still haven't seen Ep1. Has anyone gotten a copy of the "Phantom Edit" that deletes some JarJar and Anakin scenes? Supposed to make it much better. ------------------
outlaw, I have a friend making me a copy tonight, so I'll get to check 'The Phantom Edit' out I guess tomorrow night... it's in MPEG format but I'm told it looks crystal clear at 1024x768. We shall see! I have heard nothing but positives. Personally, the ultimate will be when someone takes the DVD, which includes seven deleted scenes, and further reworks the movie to include this material (where applicable). Sweeeeeeeeeet
