IF anyone plays this please let us know how it is. I hav eseen very mixed reviews and would like some more opinions on it before I break down and buy it.
it will likely suck, but who cares. Imagine driving AT-ST's and blasting ewok's, dude. Maybe none of you were bummed to learn the entire Star Wars saga culminated with freaking ewok's dancing, but I for one was pissed and I plan to rewrite history.
I was a little bummed, but the song the Ewoks were singing was so outstanding I let it slide. I was much, MUCH more pissed that they removed that song from the CGI "improved" version that was release again into theaters.
i do not own a game system. i will. my son and i saw this ad the other day, and with our collective 4 year old minds smiled and he said...."dad...are you thinking what i'm thinking??"
That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw that ad. I asked my roommate, "did they just shoot that Ewok?!" and he was like "It coudln't have been, they're not allowed to do that!" The game does look hot though, but they'll probably find some way to screw it up knowing LucasArts.
I think I'll rent it first. It's basically Battlefield Star Wars. They liberally borrowed from the battlefield games. BTW, did anybody else go pick up their copy of the Star Wars DVD's at midnight last night? I did.
If that is true then this gam ewill be good. Battlefield is one of the only FPS games I wuill spend any time on.
Yeah, I am thinking the same thing. Battlefield is the only FPS I have bought in a long time and have played endless hours of.

Since we are on the subject of Ewok-speak...I wanted to run something by you guys. There is a moment in Return of the Jedi where some of the Ewoks are talking. I think they were conferring amongst themselves about C3PO. And during their jibberish, I distinctly hear one of them say "that guy's nice." Has anyone else noticed this or am I just crazy?
Check out how Lando is dancing in the final scene with the Ewoks. He looks like a dork. I saw one of the specials, LOL, said Chewbacca didn't get a medal in first movie.

I always thought it was "that guys wise" not nice, which would make sense since C3PO was considered god like. .. . . or maybe I too am crazy. Only crazy with bad hearing
I got this game today, and it's pretty cool. Its set up like a capture the flag type game with different bases. You play on either side of the original star wars trilogy or the prequel trilogy. I havent gotten too far into it but what I've played so far is pretty nice. Yes, you will get to shoot ewoks.
