After the PHX win yest over the mavs,,,,,marberry had a quote say that

"I dont know about the other teams, but we want it, we want it bad"

i think hes implying like rockets dont really care if they make it,,and he has a right to think that,,rox are playing with no urgency what so ever

I see it as him saying, "We don't care about other teams, all we know is that we want it."

He was talking about the Rockets whether he knew he was or not.

That is exactly what I want to see from the Rocket players. I want to see desire, the drive to get to the playoffs. The Rockets can't even talk a good game much less play a good game.

ehhh.....he wasn't making any comments directly at any team, just saying he wants to win.

We know from this season alone that if Marbury wants to make a direct comment, he will.

I can say that Marbury is EXACTLY on the money with his statement...we have not only been losing but in the saddest of ways.. I am ashamed :(

No one's mouth is more hollow than Steph's. Some may be as bad, no one is worse. Or worser, yet.

What's wrong with Marbury's comment? If I were a Rox fan I would have loved to have him on my team than Steve Francis anyday.

Even he's talking smack (and frankly I don't think he's in his case), he deserved it. He's backed his words up.

Better than our guards talking about Dallas or SA not beating them 1-on-1. Stupid.

stephs game and franchise are somewhat similar although steph is much more offensive minded,,,,,but this year i think hes had an overall better year than franchise,,,i dont like the guy but hes ahd a great year and looks like hes finally changed his game a bit,,he just takes over when he needs too

Steph is also a better defender.

But anyway, his comments are right on the money once again. I find it hilarious how Rockets fans are always trying to find something in his quotes that they can turn against him.

Especially since they have someone like Steve Francis on their team.

i am not a marbury fan at all but he is right. this is the time of year when its do or die and excuses dont cut the mustard. phoenix stepped up when needed and we totally folded. they deserve it more than us, sad to say. i love the rockets, but i dont think that even they care about winning. the real winners find a way to get it done.:(

He says lots of stupid stuff so, therefore, everything he says is without value. He could be right, coincidentally, occasionally but he negates it all with being plug-ugly stupid.

Yes, he has game. So what?

I see nothing wrong with the comment. If I was coaching a team on the verge of the playoffs, I wouldnt want them worrying about the teams around them, just on what they as a team needed to do to win. Sounds to me, marbury has that frame of mind.

arg, u sure about that, he's a great player, but "anyday"

steve does things that can be frustrating to watch, but we're talking bout the biggest crybaby to come from coney island here.
