Do any of you know anything about stage lighting? This would be for a school and I would like to keep it as cheap as possible while at the same time making it look really good.

Obviously, I'm looking online at other stuff, but was just wondering if any of you had any real world experience with it.

    Thanks all!

What are you looking to do?
    budget?
    stage size, type?
are you looking to install a system or just design a show?

I'm looking to make sure the parents can see their kids when we do our concerts. There might also be drama type things on there

So far...I'd like to keep the budget to around 500-600 dollars (is that possible? I haven't done much research yet.)

The stage is 30ft across, around 15 or so feet deep and about 4-5 ft tall. Kids are on risers for concerts

I'm more looking to install a system. Something more barebones, but still decent so we can still add to it when the school gets more money.
