    ABC13 Eyewitness News

(5/21/04 - SUGAR LAND, TX) — An area teen is under arrest for stabbing his own mother.

Tristan Williams, 18, allegedly stabbed his mother, Alice Williams, 37, in a home in the Sweetwater subdivision in Sugar Land. The pair were cleaning the home when they got into a fight just before 1pm Friday. Tristan allegedly stabbed his mother several times with kitchen knives.

The homeowner was home at the time of the stabbing and called 911. Alice was taken to the hospital by Life Flight, where she died.

Tristan was located by Sugar Land police officers several blocks from the home. He was taken into custody without incident.

Eyewitness News has learned the home the Williams were cleaning belongs to LA Laker Shaquille O'Neal.

At this time, Tristan is charged with aggravated assault. The case is currently still under investigation.

    Damn, that sucks! :(

At the risk of being insensitive, who would want to own a home in Sweatwater?

Shaq owns the house...he doesn't actually live there, though. Arnetta Yardbourgh, a woman he had a relationship with for a long time, and their daughter live there. Arnetta made the 9-1-1 call. Shaq does spend some time there during the offseason.

Shaq hooked his ex up with a bad ass house. Does he really spend time there in the off-season? He is married.

As a matter of fact, sometime last August I was rolling out of the subdivision when I saw Shaq outside with his daughter. She was riding her bike up the driveway toward the house while Shaq was walking beside her. Besides thinking 'Damn, I just saw Shaq', I was also thinking 'Dude looks like he's in alot better shape than last season'.

It actually may take a Shaq-stabbing for the Pacers to have any chance of beating the Lakers. Either that or new DNA evidence against Kobe.

The charge was upgraded to murder this morning. Bond is set at $400K. As of 4:10pm, he hasn't bonded out.

He spent much more time there before he was married. AY was Shaq's HS sweetheart. They had a kid together and she thought he would marry her. She is still somewhat bitter, from what I hear. Even while they were together, he frustrated the hell out of her. Poor lady. She is really nice and fairly intelligent (she has a masters).
