I saw it and I'd give it an A Probably one of the better films this year. It was well done. Not as much action as a Tom Cruise movie, but with good reason.
I loved how they went back 16 years, and didn't even make an attempt to make the rapidly-aged Redford look any younger. Other than that and an abrupt ending, I thought it was very good.
I too thought the ending was a little sudden. It was almost like they ran out of film or something. Anyway, a good movie, I have no reservations in recommending it. Brad Pitt played his part well as he has of late, and Redford was excellent.
I heard they messed up one thing on Vietnam as well, saying we pulled out in '75 when we pulled out in '72 or something. I don't know much about it, but that's what I heard anyway.
I liked it. Kind of reminded me of the old Jack Ryan Tom Clancy novel/movies that Harreson Ford was in. Quite well done. Robert Redford is great at the subtle facial humor that seems to be largely gone from cinema these days.
i like'd it....i too was a little disappointed with the lack of effort on the Redford 16 years younger. come on, he stilled looked 60 years old.
With what you guys are saying it seems like it is a good movie. I want to go see it sometime this week.
