The Spurs would NOT WIN a Championship ...period!!! They're not a TRUE CHAMPION. ONly reason they won it is cuz of luck..like Webber's injured and Fox of the Lakers got injured and Shaq's problem with the toe ....all these happened last year. Spurs just got lucky that's all!!!

Agreed, but the Pricks still own the Rockets.

One notable injury he didn't mention was the injury to Dirk.

Speaking of luck, how about Vlade's rebound tap back that bounced to Horry? Change that play and the Kings go to the Finals.

Give them credit. They won. the team with the best player in the league usually does.

By the same token, people could say that the Rockets were lucky. No jordan in Clutch city I. Seattle got knocked out by Denver.

In clutch city II, Barkley bricked 2 freethrows that could have sealed it. Wes Person missed a wide open 3 pointer that could have sealed it. Nick Andersen missed 4 straight free throws that changed the complexion of the game, the series and his career.

I think we are champs because those if's didn't happen. We won. Period. So did the spurs.

That is because the East has been reduced to deciding which sacrificial lamb to send against the soon to be champions. I think the conference finals got fine ratings.

Would, Shoulda, Coulda 3 things that arnt gona happien again. The fact of the matter is gettin your best or worst player injured is part of the game. It happines it sucks but thats life. It's the teams job to have other player on the bench and around that position to cover the slack if the play goes down. So the Mavs and Lakers deserved to lose. Why? Becuase thats the way the game has allways been and allways will be. so STOP b****ing!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA....I am not a Spurs fan but to say they weren't the best T E A M last season is joke especially with the logic which you use. The Spurs were dominant all season. Shaq was fat, injured and out of shape all season and not comitted to wining. Minnesota is Minnesota, they lost to the Lakers even though they put up a good fight. The kings were the only team that could have given the SPurs trouble but they lacked the defense and Dallas is Dallas. You must be the same one that posted "Tim Duncan is not that Good".

The Spurs were already ahead in the series when this happened.

Doesn't matter, they would have come back. It's like the spurs losing Duncan.

what does it matter now? it's like saying 'yea man...those rockets...they got lucky b/c jordan wasn't there'. it's stupid. they won so get over it. it's not that the spurs got the fortune of playing teams with injured stars; it's also a misfortune for those teams to play without their stars.
