Not 100% sure, but I'm assuming he won't be able to shoot or dribble with this injury. Doesn't look too good for the Spurs.

The Spurs are done even if TP comes back by playoff time. They never put it together this season.

Kind of late for them to decide to tank, isn't it?

Could be the opening the Rox need although 5 1/2 games is A LOT to make up. Still the Spurs look like the Rox at the end of their run with Dream.

George Hill MUST pick up for fantasy? Would you pick him up over the beloved tmac??
sucks for tony and the spurs. This was supposed to be the year that they were going to make that huge run, but Richard Jefferson didnt quite fit like a glove they were expecting him to be.

Very useful thread, gave me the jump on punting Corey Brewer for Hill on my fantasy team. :D

I'm a bit of a fans of the Spurs organization, so it's been hard to watch them struggle, and this is no exception. They'll still be a tough out as long as Duncan is breathing and has moving parts.

Good for the Rockets, but man I just lost Jason Terry and now Parker on my fantasy. Overall, go rockets!

Anyone still remember people thought the Spurs would be the team to challenge the Lakers after they had signed Jefferson? I guess they are sort of like last year's Rockets.

Not even. This is bad injury and it is on his shooting hand. The same injury Bonner had earlier in the season for the Spurs.

That just about seals up the Spurs chances this postseason. As others have said, they never put it together before the postseason but this assuredly does not help their chances of doing it.

I remember because I was one of them. Didn't realize how much of a slacker Jefferson had become.

Last year's Rockets were 10X better than this year's Spurs, imo. And the Rockets surely did challenge the Lakers, taking them to 7 games in the 2nd round.

spurs are playing well lately..hill may be a candinate for MIP and jefferson has been playing good lately and ginobili looks like a few years ago

spurs upcoming schedule is tough but will make other players step up and if spurs can get more hot and be in good playoff position by the time parker comes back..parker will be rested and that will be pretty scary
