LOL! That cracks me up as I see it everywhere on buildings, on peoples car windows, on houses, painted on peoples faces, on the Lance wannabe black or grey bracelets sold at H.E.B..
Go Spurs Go! Go Spurs Go! Go Spurs Go!
I mean there arent really many "slogans" for many teams, like whats the Rockets? People dont really shout "Clutch City" over and over do they? I dont think anyone has a slogan...Heat or Pacers or any other professional sports team for that matter!?

As cheesy as it may seem, Go Spurs Go, who's gunning for the LAST TEXAS TEAM STANDING?!

Show your support, show your hatred, Yeee-haw!!
Ginobli (MVP), Le Parker, Mohamed will get us there!

BTW winning against Suns in 6 and Miami in 6 and I will be on the Riverwalk taking pics of the championship river parade for this forum!:D

The way Nash tore up the Mavs had me becoming a slight fan of his. Also, in the grand scheme of it all, we really do dislike the Spurs more than the Suns... but the Spurs play the game the way its supposed to be played (minus Bowen's dirty tactics).

I guess the best I can say is... I want a good series. I think the finals will be exciting no matter what combination of teams eventually meets up. But, I do want Miami to be in the finals because I'll be in Miami around the time they start.

I really dont care who comes out of this series, as long as Miami isnt the champions. I wouldnt want them to win and all of this crap "SHAQ IS OUR SAVIOR" and pretty much thinking he is GOD because he switched teams and still won a chapionship with another team. Plus I got $10 on them NOT winning.... :p

as long as it wasnt the Mavs in the WCF, i really dont care who wins, just as long as its a competitive series.

I still have a soft spot for Detroit since they kept Karl Malone from getting a ring last year.

I can't...I just can't. Maybe if they stop bailing Ginobili everytime he goes into the lane completely out of control, but I doubt that will happen.

    So, go Suns!!!

I will never root for the Spers. At least, not as long as Ginobli the flopper (on both offense and defense) is on that team. And not as long as Jesus Parker with his smug little cheshire grin is on that team. I especially dislike every time he takes and gets away with one of his patented five step drives to the basket. r****ded NBA refs apparently stopped cashing in on First Class but still accept Air France travel vouchers

Even the Great Robert Horry cannot offset the presence of these players.

Duncan is a great player and stand up guy, the rest of the team and fans have zero redeeming qualities. "The flopper" aka "Pinocchio" Ginobili. The most overrated PG in the league. Mr Brent "Where have my balls gone, I guess to my brother" Barry. The former home to “the little Mermaid”. Their whiney little girl fans who sound like a WNBA crowd and need a three syllable slogan to stay involved in the game.

    I hope they get pasted.

If the Spurs win, San Antonio, a city with one pro team, will have more major championships than Houston. Needless to say I'm rooting against them.

    GO SPURS!!!!!!! woooo
    Ginobili awesome shot lol

Suns have no defense. Spurs can't shoot but they can drive and they have inside game. Just exploit it totally.

Jimmy Jackson is looking great...he coulda helped with Finley but anyways

Suns are relying on Steve Nash..Spurs have great defense..will prevent shots from going and prevent any second chance opportunities or hustle points.

    GO SPURS

is duncan not allowed to pick up foul number 2 or something? he was moving and inside the circle on that last amare shot. but they have no problem giving amare 2.

edit: nm, i guess they just aren't calling fouls on the spurs at all. nazr committed an obvious foul on barbosa and got away with it. starting to piss me off.

Agreed... if the refs allow this series to be this physical, there is no way Phoenix will win it. Frankly, they could try and be physical too... but that's just not their MO.

When the Suns commit fouls, its usally pretty blatant (because they don't fould that much)... but they don't know how to play that middle-ground agressive/physical defense (where it looks close enough to be a foul, but the refs let it go).

EDIT: D'antoni may have just found his lineup for the rest of the games that Joe Johnson is out... he should start Hunter, Stoudamire, and Marion on the front line... and bring JJ off the bench. A bigger lineup would suit them well against the Spurs.

Dont forget Ginobili: The most gutless flopper in the NBA. And Bowen is probably the dirtiest player in the NBA, so how do the Spurs play the game the right way exactly? Ginobili is everything that's wrong with the NBA right now: Guys catering their game after the refs rather than playing actual, honorable basketball.

The reason Ginobili keeps getting flagrant fouls from Denver and Seattle is that everyone gets sick of that lame, BS flopping. He's a WNBA player.

Wait until they play on their home court, you will see how Refs lean to them. It amazes me everytime.

Go Suns, Go Nash, Go Amare.

    Go to hell, spers!

By the way, watching Amare's play on the court, I am wondering how is it possible for Yao to keep up with him if Yao can't stay in States improving his game. The gap between them is getting bigger and bigger. Amare has already achieved more than Yao, both on personal stat wise and team achievement wise. It always frustrates me.

Yao held his own quite well against Amare this year. Amare struggles w/ Yao... even he'll admit that.

If Amare develops a jump shot or post up game, the gap will then be fairly large... but until then, he is not unstoppable unless he can have his teammates get him the ball near the basket at the perfect spots.

This guy is only 22. There is no way he can't improve his jumper or post up game. In fact, I am amazed how he improved his shooting this year. Just amazing.
