Naw, tha Heat took that title tree years ago. Tha Heat still have tha largest fan base today. All tha "old an original" Heat fans + all tha new Heat fans + playa fans, Heat have tha largest fan base.
Kobes fans are in a bind: * Duncan wins, he gets 5 titles, just like Kobe, only more Finals MVPs, never lost a final, so he overtake Kobe even in the eyes of the media (probly) in terms of place on the all time list * Lebron wins, there'll be even more talk about him being equal or better than MJ, and Lebron would have as many final MVPs as Kobe
Nothing can make me root for the Spurs. Of course I said the same for the Heat but this is different. I don't always root for the Heat but when I do I prefer they take down the Spurs so I don't have to hear bragging in our backyard. Stay reigning my friends.
the duncan vs kobe issue isnt a clear as lebron kobe though, duncan be a bigman, its trivial to compare him to a SG in kobe, but its always been about the jordan/kobe/lebron crap, so yeah thats more releveant
