I think this move just made a majority of Rockets fans, a lot more anxious to recieve their annual prize.

A move doesnt need to be made right away but when a move is done it better be a good one.

 

Bowen is the spurs! I guess the spurs would rather have a sf like Artest or Battier. I don't think Jefferson is a good defender. It's unkown whether Jefferson can shine in the spurs' system.

 

Yeah with trading Bowen the Spurs are now lottery bound.

 

Well I wanted to get Jefferson so now this only leaves Rip Hamilton to be had. I really think Morey needs to try and get Rip. According the the Celtics Hamilton is on the trade block.

 

This seems like a great move for the Spurs. They can get Bowen back if the Bucks release him and Oberto was having some kind of heart issues so who knows how effective he will be next season.

 

If the spurs stay healthy, their going to be hell to beat. Lets hope they don't don't get a descent center to replace Oberto and Thomas.

 

I have said for awhile now that Hamilton would be perfect in this offense.

 

Am I the only person that thinks this isn't a lock to be a good move? It's unknown what contribution Jefferson will make. He has a scorers mentality and now will be asked to be the 4th (maybe the 3rd, if Manu isnt 100%) option, that sounds like Michael Finley when he joined the Spurs if you ask me.

The spurs were championship team because they had a mature system. Bowen, as the best perimeter defender, is a very important part for their system. As long as the spurs are unable to find a great defender to replace him, their system is dead!

You can bet that this will be a precursor for things to come up until the draft. Every team will be trying to shift to their team accordingly, this move might be a good move for us since it might open up more opportunities around the league. I'm now waiting for Detroit to open up cap room for Ben Gordon who they want so badly and the Phoenix Suns and their fire sale coming real soon.

 

I suppose Ime Udoka will be taking Bowens spot as the "dirty" defensive specialist?

 

Only way we can get rip is wait Detroit to sign Ben Gorden.
Detroit is waiting on Carlos Boozer, but if they cant get Boozer, I think they will make a run at Ben Gorden. Then they will be willing to take Tmac's contract for next summer, so that they will have space to make a run for Bosh.
