I would just like to say Tony Parker is the man. He is plain awesome. He won't be a superstar....but he is sweet.

Of course....the only reason they won was Michael Finley did not play. But Nick Van Exel did very good too with 35 points...

Tony Parker better get some respect some day..

Had Finley played, then NVE probably would not have gone off for 35 pts... I think the result would been about the same, had Finley played.

If you watched the game in Dallas, they showed a sequence where Avery Johnson was drawing up plays, with the team huddled around and Don watching. It's sad that they have a player on the bench that is probably a better coach than all of our assistant coaches combined.

Hey, I don't like scoreboard watching, and I sure as hell don't like to look at, or even think about, the standings; it's a jinx.

San Antonio is, what, 2 games out of first?

I would rather see the Spurs at the top than Dallas.

    same here.
San Antonio is really turning into a great team. Parker and Ginobilli are improving a lot more than I thought they ever would, and its only their 2nd and 1st seasons ,respectively.

Its funny how everyone was doggin' Manu(re :D ) eariler in the season, but he's been playing great as of late...almost like a vet. Great passer, good shooter, he's aggressive taking it to the hole.
Unless Yao turns into a HUGE force, then I don't see us consistently beating the spurs in the future.

    Dumber post.

Even so, I think having a player on your bench that is good coach material is great. Why wouldn't you want that?

I think he meant it's a dumb post because it is assumed that Avery Johnson is a better coach then Rudy T because Avery happened to be on the sign line righting on a pad.

Well, Avery has been mentioned more than once to take over as head coach at Dallas in the future.

I too like San antonio as a team- I really respect Duncan and Parker. I think Duncan is the most complete player in the league, with a powerful basketball mind. Ginobili is playing well and consistently.

I think some of the San Antonio fans show no class whatsoever. That may be true of some fans of any team. I do recall San Antonio fans trolling here and really rubbing it in when they are doing well and we have been in a slump.

I di not say one negative thing about Pock- errr I mean Poppovich.
