I have this sprinkler system and it was great until a few months ago (out of warranty, of course).I know that the problem exists where the relays are. Unfortunately, these morons wiring arrangement leaves a lot to be desired.

Anyway, 1 zone is out. The relay is mounted up against the side of the container in the ground. Everything is plastic, so I have to take special care not to cross the threads, because of the limited workspace.

The wiring looks like spaghetti, so here is where I'm going.

I'm thinking of re-doing the wiring at the place in the lawn that support 2 of the zones.

Has anyone had to do this? Are there reasonable places that charge reasonable prices to fix what should have been done better to begin with?

How is your sprinkler systems? What is the life expectancy?

I do understand that these solonoids don't last forever, but want to save myself time when the remaining solonoids go out in the future.

Anybody have anything to help me on this?

I'm thinking of just bringing someone out, but I want a reputable company.

when you say relays, do you mean the valves and their wiring?

I meant to say the wiring, but suspect a bad solonoid.
