This is the thread to list the 5 players you want in spring training. I'm sure haven will explain more later, but this is where you post how you want the points rearranged, if at all.
For hitters, you can adjust them for the following categories: Contact Hitting Power Hitting Strike Zone Judgement Defense Each of these categories has a default of 5 pts. You can reassign these points at will. This is what is emphasized for them in spring training. The higher the points, the more likely improvement. The lower, the more likely the player is to decline in that category. Younger players tend to improve more, but there are no guarantees. You can also designate 5 pts to "learn new position." These points must be taken from another category(s). Once again, no guarantees. For pitchers, the process is the same, but the categories are: Pure Stuff Velocity Control Stamina You can also use the "learn new position" option. If you don't want to micromanage this, you can either leave everything at the default of 5 per category, or you can let the computer handle everything. Good luck. First games should be Friday night or Saturday.

Haven, Yes I do. But for the most part, the categories I ignored for each player, they don't need it anyway. Take, for example, Ortiz. He's my DH, so there's no reason why I should allocate points to defense for him. The same with luis. He'll never hit for power anyway. The pitchers, well, I think velocity and stuff or whatever, either you have it or you don't. Plus, I am pretty sure that those categories can be regained either through the season or elsewhere. It's just my strategy. I might be wrong, but like I said, some categories I am willing to let decline.
