Number one pick of the 2002 draft.
    Yao Ming
    Birthdate: 9/12/80
    NBA Position: Center
    Team: Houston Rockets
    Ht: 7-5 (flat footed)
    Wt: 295
    Hometown: Shanghai, China

    Power Rankings:
    Althleticism: 8 Defense: 9 Quickness: 7 Jump Shot: 10
    Rebounding: 9 Post Skills: 9 Size: 10 Strenght: 8 Leadership: 9 NBA Ready: 9 Potential: 10 Intangibles: 10

Strengths: At 7-5 has very good agility and althieticism. Can knock down jumpshots all the way out to NAB 3 point range with consistency. Very quick reflexes and shows the ability to adapt to plays as they're happening. Has a developing hook shot, that will be indefensible when it becomes more defined. Has a very clever offensive game and passes with creativity. Has good timing on blocking shots, will even step out and swat jumpshotters if they challenge him. Runs the floor with fluidity, and good quickness. Has good aggresiveness, loves to dunk (mostly two handed), and does it with authority. Has the motivation to become better, and has expressed strong interest in playing against the best in the world.

Number 15 pick of the 2002 draft.
    Bostjan Nachbar
    Birthdate: 7/3/80
    NBA Postion: Small Foward
    Team: Houston Rockets
    Ht: 6-9
    Wt: 220
    Hometown: Dravograd, Slovenia

    Power Rankings:
    Athleticism: 9 Defense: 7 Quickness: 8 Jump Shot: 10 Passing: 8 Ball Handling: 8 Size: 9 Strength: 8 Leadership:8 NBA Ready: 10 Potential: 10 Intagibles: 9

Strengths: Another sweet shooting European SF. Combines great athleticism with good intelligence. Very smooth player with offensive skill and court sense. Great understanding of the game and plays under control and with great competitiveness. Runs the floor very well and can get off the floor well and finish. Can actually create off the dribble and his ball handling ability is good and looks like it can become very good. Is still prone to having his pocket picked, but his handles are adept for a SF. Will be able to help a team right away as he is probably more NBA ready than any player coming out of the draft after becoming one of the key players on a Final Four Euroleague team, Benneton Treviso. Has range on his shot. He is the real deal. Not the shooter of Peja, but a more fluid athlete.

It sounds like the Rockets got two players who not only fill the biggest holes on the team, but can come in and contribute right away. I would say it was a Fantastic draft..:)
    Go Rockets!!
