I play on a flag football team. The games are played at the Houston Sports Plex at S. Main and S. Post Oak. A great area of town. It's a fun league, but last night it got a little out of hand.

This team we played is called the "H-town Hustlas." They all have tats and smoke menthols while they are on the sidelines. They were the one team out there that was a little intimidating just because they looked like they belonged in an Asian gang.

We were beating a team last night pretty badly. It was 24-0 well into the second half. The other team finally scores and looks at one of our players, unprovoked, and yells "Suck my d**k!" or something close to that. We have to hotheads on our team and they get up in their faces until one of them gets sucker punched in the back of the head.

A huge brawl breaks out. Most of my team is trying to break it up, including me. The two hotheads are literally fighting nine guys by themselves and are winning somehow. They are both big guys and the guys they were fighting were small.

We finally break the fight up and I end up having to hold down one of the other team while a few of them pull him back.

Then the referees get between us and all the sudden the other team starts pulling off their shirts trying to take it to the parking lot.

They are pointing to their tats, saying "You know what this means? I killed a man. I'm a Blood, motherf**er! Wanna come to my car so I can show you my piece? I got a baseball bat too. I don't think you are going home to your mama for Thanksgiving."

The refs called the cops and they left but were waiting for us in the parking lot. We went to the bar and got drunk.

I realized that that league is way too prole for me and I need to be playing in Memorial or something.

Anyone else ever played out there?

I have played there many times. It's best just to get with some friends and play, because most of those guys there, are trying to re-live some video game dream, that they never acheived in real athletics. They take things way too serious for a flag football league. Its kinda funny. I take a pistol with me wherever I go, so an asian gang, is the least of my problems. Cmon Woo, you know better than that.

You're right. I guess I just don't know how to deal with that.

I went to private school, damnit.
